AAW Day of Defiance 2014

Another fantastic show by AAW.  I'm really loving the product they are putting together.  

Steen/Jacobs/Hollister was s blast and the tag team ladder match was filled with tons of great ladder spots.  All in all check this show out if you're an indie wrestling fan, it showcases a lot of talent you probably enjoy.

Ring Of Honor- Raising the Bar (night 1)

This past Friday Ring of Honor came to Milwaukee, WI for night one of Raising the Bar.  I was lucky enough to shoot both of these events, and neither disappointed.

In addition to ROH's already stacked roster, the most internationally over tag team in the world, The Young Bucks, brought their superkick party to the midwest in really great exciting matches both nights.  In addition to the Bucks, stars like Kevin Steen, Roderick Strong, Chris Hero, Adam Cole, The Briscoes, Outlaw Inc, Michael Elgin, ACH, reDRagon, and so many more piled onto these cards to make these two shows really great.  Anyway, here's a glimpse of what went down in Milwaukee on night one:

SHANE HOLLISTER VS MICHAEL ELGIN FOR THE AAW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

I had the pleasure of shooting AAW again this past weekend for their Bound By Hate event, and this promotion is picking up some steam!  After last months Day of Defiance, AAW had some pretty large boots to fill and they were up to the task on Friday night at the Berwyn Eagles.

This weeks blog is the main event from that show pitting 'Unbreakable' Michael Elgin versus 'The New World Man' Shane Hollister, and holy shit was this a great match.  A lot of great comebacks by both competitors and many moments I was POSITIVE the match was over, only to be shocked by a kick out.  Everything about this match hit on all the points of just being fantastic to watch and really get involved in.  When this DVD comes out, this match alone is worth adding it to your collection.

Team Ambition VS ACH & Michael Elgin

Another HUGE match from AAW Day Of Defiance in Chicago a few weeks ago.  This match was faced pace throughout and really did a great job of showcasing all four of these incredibly talented wrestlers while still utilizing a lot of team work. This is a match to seek out for some of the great spots alone.  The dynamics of the teams with the strength of Elgin and speed of ACH combating the vicious mean streak of Team Ambition really worked well and this match just worked.  Four of the best on the indies currently, how could you go wrong?
